The 18V LXT® Brushless 1/2" Hammer Driver-Drill Kit (XPH16T) is a compact and powerful tool built for the most demanding drilling, driving, and hammering applications. Powered by a Makita brushless motor, it delivers 970 in.lb of max torque (up to 70% more power than the previous model) for superior run time and speed. It features a variable 2-speed design (0-1,800 RPM / 0-27,000 BPM) and an all-metal gear housing for durability. The design is compact at only 6-7/8" long and weighs 4.9 lb (with a 5.0Ah battery) for reduced user fatigue, with added convenience from a soft grip and dual L.E.D. lights. As part of the 18V LXT System, it uses Star Protection Computer Controls™ to protect the tool and battery from overloading, overheating, and over-discharging.
