It features a variable 2-speed design (up to 1,800 RPM and 27,000 BPM) and an all-metal gear housing for job site durability. The drill is compact at only 6-7/8" long and weighs 4.9 lb (with a 5.0Ah battery, sold separately) for reduced fatigue, with dual L.E.D. lights and a rubberized soft grip for convenience and comfort. As part of the 18V LXT System, it includes Star Protection Computer Controls™ to safeguard the tool and battery against overloading, overheating, and over-discharging.
