The Makita 18V LXT® Cordless 3/8” Angle Drill (model XAD01Z) is engineered to deliver powerful, cordless drilling into the tightest spaces. Part of the expansive 18V LXT® Lithium-Ion series, this compact, angled drill features a Makita-built 4-pole motor that delivers 121in-lb of Max Torque and up to 1,800 RPM via an all-metal transmission, making it ideal for a wide range of drilling and driving applications in steel and wood. Its small 2-5/8” angle drill head height and over a foot of tool extension make it perfect for close-quarters work like assembly, electrical, and framing jobs. The XAD01Z is built for comfort with a soft grip handle and convenient paddle switch, and includes a built-in L.E.D. light for better visibility. Furthermore, it's equipped with Star Protection Computer Controls™—a technology that monitors conditions to safeguard the tool and battery against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating, ensuring maximum tool performance and extended battery life.
