Boshart's swing check valves are an excellent choice for sump, sewage and grinder pump applications. The full port design causes less friction and allows for easier pumping. An angled seat provides quiet operation by minimizing water hammer. They are designed for vertical (solid free liquid applications) and horizontal (solid /semisolid applications) installation. If installing horizontally extra care must be taken to ensure the flow arrow points away from the pump and the check valve body is oriented as per the marking on the valve body HORIZONTAL USE THIS SIDE UP.
