The Makita 3" x .040" x 3/8" Type 1 General Purpose 46 Grit Thin Cut Off Wheel for Metal and Stainless-Steel Cutting, 5-pack, (D-74821-5) is for use with the Makita 18V LXT® Brushless 3" Cut-Off Tool (XCM01Z, Tool Only), as well as for use with select Makita grinders with a 3/8” arbor. The industrial design delivers clean finish cuts in a variety of materials. The .04" thin wheel is engineered for faster cutting and reduced material waste. The thin wheel design requires less energy for improved battery life when used with cordless grinders. The blade is constructed of white aluminum oxide and reinforced with a resinoid bond for faster cutting and longer life. The soft, 46-grit cut-off wheel provides cleaner cuts in non-ferrous material, including stainless steel. The Cut-Off Wheel features Type 1 flat wheel design for straight-on cutting & minimal interference with the workpiece. For use in making precise cuts in metal and stainless steel.
