The 40V Max XGT® Brushless 10" Pole Saw offers the power of a 35cc gas pole saw in an 8-foot cordless design, making it easy to reach and trim higher branches; when powered by a single XGT® 4.0Ah battery (sold separately), it provides exceptional run time with up to 150 cuts in 4x4 cedar per charge. Built for durability, it includes Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) for dust and water resistance, IPX4 weather-resistant construction, and Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT®) for safety, which electronically shuts off the motor if the rotation is suddenly forced to stop. For user convenience, the saw features a lateral chain tensioner with a single stud, a captured bar nut for easier maintenance, and a translucent bar oil tank with a large opening for proper lubrication. The saw is part of the XGT® system, a platform of equipment, tools, batteries, and chargers that utilizes 40V Max lithium-ion batteries, which is engineered with advanced brushless motor engineering, intelligent digital communication, and superior durability features to deliver high power for high-demand applications, enabling a complete transition to a cordless job site.
