The 40V Max XGT® 20" Chain Saw delivers the power and high chain speed (5,700 FPM) of a 50cc gas rear handle chain saw, cutting up to 25% faster than its gas counterpart, with the option to utilize the XGT® High Power 8.0Ah Battery for up to 35% more power. Built for durability, it features Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™) and an IPX4M rating for use in rainy conditions, alongside an inertia-activated chain brake and Active Feedback-Sensing Technology (AFT®) for improved safety. The saw eliminates pull starts with an easily accessible on/off power button and features tactile controls, a variable trigger, and three chain speeds for improved cutting control, all monitored via an LED display panel. Convenience is built in with a rubberized soft grip, a large oil filling port with a view window for easy lubrication checks, a lateral chain tensioning system with dual studs, and captured bar nuts for easy maintenance, while a 5-minute auto power-off helps conserve battery life. This saw is a high-power tool within the XGT® system, which utilizes 40V Max lithium-ion batteries and advanced technology to allow users to transition to a cordless jobsite.
