This 8-2 CU NM-B with 25 FT cable features bare copper conductors (solid for #14-#10 AWG, Class B compressed stranded for #8-#2 AWG) and PVC insulation with a nylon sheath (black/white for 2/C, black/red/white for 3/C, black/red/blue/white for 4/C). It includes a solid soft drawn bare copper ground wire with a kraft paper wrap binder, and a PVC jacket utilizing SIMpull Technology.
- Southwire Romex Brand SIMpull NM-B (nonmetallic-sheathed) cable may be used for both exposed and concealed work in normally dry locations at temperatures not to exceed 90C
- NM-B cable may be run in air voids of masonry block or tile walls where such walls are not wet or damp locations.
- Voltage rating for NM-B cable is 600 volts.
