Flashings are used to seal the opening where the chimney penetrates the roof to divert rain and snow down from the roof and away from the chimney system. A series of adjustable flashings are available Depending on your roof pitch. A flat and low pitch flashing is used to seal flat and low pitch roof (up to 2/12 pitch) openings.
- Engineered for safety, Selkirk, also known as metalbest or metalbestos, chimneys are packed with one inch of premium fiber insulation, ensuring a 100 percent fill
- This superior insulation maintains higher internal flue temperatures, enhancing draft and efficiency
- Low temperatures are maintained on the outer casing, allowing installation as close as 2 inch from combustible materials
- A locking band ensures system integrity and strength for the life of the chimney
- This adjustable flashing is used on a 2/12 to 6/12 pitched roof
