These through-the-wall fittings are constructed of polypropylene is resistant to chemicals and abrasion. They are installed through the side of the tank, and create a water-tight seal with an EPDM gasket and nut. Anti-Vortex fittings prevent the swirl of liquid at the bottom of a tank during pumping.
