This 216-259 MFD, 330V AC motor start capacitor is a dry, electrolytic, non-polarized component designed for intermittent duty in AC motor starting circuits. It features a round, moisture- and oil-resistant case molded from phenolic resin or plastic, equipped with standard dual blade terminals. Engineered for a 3-second start cycle with up to 20 starts per hour, it operates across a 50/60 Hz frequency range and in temperatures from -40°F to 149°F. This reliable component meets or exceeds EIA Standard RS-463 Type 2 guidelines and is both UL recognized and cUL approved.
