Characterized by delicate, daisy-like flowers with a fragrance reminiscent of an apple, chamomile is as pretty as it is useful. It is thought to have anti-inflammatory, anti-anxiety, and digestive properties. Whether used in herbal tea or as a garnish on desserts, chamomile is a lovely garden addition.

Instructions:
Best sown directly outdoors, choose a well drained full sun location after the last frost. Scatter seeds and gently press them into the soil, as chamomile needs light to germinate. Chamomile is fairly drought tolerant and does not require frequent watering. Water well when the soil feels dry. Harvest chamomile flowers when they are fully open but before they deteriorate. Dry in a dark, well-ventilated area.
