The #100 connecting links, also known as master links, connect two ends of #100 roller chain. They feature solid rollers for smooth rotation, minimizing impact load. Chains are pre-loaded during assembly to reduce initial elongation, and rollers and link plates are shot-peened for enhanced fatigue strength. After assembly, the roller chains are hot-dipped in a special lubricant to protect load-bearing surfaces from metal-to-metal contact, extending wear life.
