Instructions:
Start indoors or direct sow once the soil has warmed. Take extra care if transplanting. Add compost or all purpose fertilizer to an area that is well draining as zinnias are susceptible to mildew. Pinch plants when young to encourage longer stems. Water regularly at the base of the plant. If using as a cut flower, harvest as flower just begins to open.
