DTT1Z ZMAX Galvanized Deck Tension Tie Kit for 2x w/ Screws (4pk)

Simpson Strong-Tie® DTT™ tension ties are versatile, code-compliant connectors for safe deck construction and light-duty structural applications. The DTT1Z® deck tension tie is engineered to meet the International Residential Code (IRC R507.9.2(2)) by providing a 750 lb. lateral load connection, securing new or existing decks to the home at four locations with a less invasive approach that avoids accessing interior floor joists. It installs on the narrow or wide face of a single 2x joist and can be anchored with a 3/8" bolt, lag screw, or Strong-Drive SDWH™ Timber-Hex HDG screw. The DTT1 series offers flexibility with models in ZMAX® (DTT1Z) for typical use and Type 316 stainless steel for harsher environments.
