The alarm is fully interconnected, meaning that when one alarm sounds, all connected detectors will sound to provide an early, whole-home warning. When danger is detected, a friendly voice will clearly announce the type and location of the threat from a choice of 11 pre-programmed home locations, aiding in a safe escape. It ensures continuous protection, even during a power outage, with a battery backup. Convenient safety features include a single test/silence button and low battery/end-of-life warnings to signal when the combination detector needs replacement.
