This Ultimate Series Flap Disc is engineered for exceptional performance on non-ferrous metal, plastic, and wood. This Type 27/Depressed Center Flat Disc features an extra coarse 40 grit grade and is built with Z3® Zirconia Alumina abrasive and a durable poly/cotton backing. Its key innovation is the XTRA material coat and extra-wide flap design, which provides 25% more material than regular discs. This unique structure reduces heat, offers a cushion-like impact for more controlled stock removal, and delivers more consistent finishing results. It is contaminant-free and rated for a maximum speed of 13,300 rpm, designed for use with an angle grinder (4-1/2 inch diameter with a 7/8 inch center hole).
