- What impact adapters are included in this set? The increasing adapters in this set are a 1/4" drive F x 3/8" drive M, 3/8" drive F x 1/2" drive M, 1/2" drive F x 3/4" drive M, and 3/4" drive F to 1" drive M. And the decreasing adapters are1/2" drive F x 3/8" drive M and 3/4" F x 1/2" drive M.
- Are they compatible with regular sockets? Yes, they can be used with both impact and standard sockets, but DO NOT use standard hand sockets (chrome sockets) in impact applications.
- What does it mean by increasing adapter or decreasing adapter? Increasing adapters have a smaller female end and a larger male end allowing you to use a larger socket with a smaller ratchet or other drive tool, such as extensions and universal joints. Decreasing adapters have a larger female end and a smaller male end allowing you to use a smaller socket with a larger drive ratchet or other drive tool.
