The 8-in x 6-in black matt reducer is used for connecting single wall stove pipe to chimneys and vent stacks. Allows for 6-in diameter round pipe to connect to 8-in diameter round pipe or flue opening. Sturdy, 24 gauge construction designed for optimal heat efficiency and long-term use. Crimped on one end to easily fit into pipe or fitting of the same diameter.
- Smaller end is crimped for easy connection with same-diameter pipe or fitting opening
- 24-gauge cold-rolled steel construction for durability and lasting performance
- Black matt painted finish resists scratching and chipping
- 18-in minimum clearance from combustible materials (wall) is required
- Maximum continuous temperature rating of 700°F with short-term 800°F exposure
- Secure the stove pipe connector using a minimum of 3 stove pipe screws at each connection
