Polyurethane for Floors has 3 big benefits that make it unique and different from fast-dry poly. First, the dry time is 3 to 4 hours, 25% faster than traditional poly. Second, if you recoat within 12 hours, you don't have to sand between coats. Third, poly for floors is formulated with advanced anti-setting agents that keep the flattener (used in satin and semi-gloss) suspended all day, which results in less stirring time. This clear, oil-based protective finish is specifically formulated for hardwood floors. Apply with natural bristle brush or synthetic stain pad. Drying time could be longer if using a lambswool applicator due to thicker coat. Can be applied over Minwax wood finish or gel stain. Covers approximately 400 to 450 sq. ft. per gallon depending on porosity of surface. Clean up with mineral spirits.
