Permatex's Optimum Red offers the maximum temperature resistant available today. Optimum Red ranges up to 750 deg F (399 deg C), higher than Ultra Copper and Regular RTV Red. This Maximum Temperature gasket maker is resistant to high thermal cycling and is sensor-safe, non-corrosive RTV. This chemical gasket maker can be used in replacement of pre-cut gaskets and is ideal for high-temperature applications such as the exhaust manifold, header, turbochargers and slip-fit exhaust parts.
