Portland cement is a hydraulic cement composed basically of calcium, silicates, aluminates and iron. Lehigh Portland Cement is produced using carefully selected raw materials. This results in a high quality, consistent cement that is easy to work with during construction and contributes to long lasting, aesthetically pleasing structures. General purpose portland cement suitable for concrete that does not require special properties. Type I cement is commonly found in general construction applications such as most buildings, bridges, pavements, precast and masonry units and more.
