The PowerPlug® ballast disconnect uses patented push-in technology for fast, secure connections and safe ballast replacement. Both halves are touch-safe" per UL 2459, reducing shock hazards by disconnecting hot and neutral wiring. Designed for easy installation through 1/2-in. knockouts, it supports #12–#18 AWG solid and #12–#14 AWG stranded copper wires. Rated for 600V (1000V in fixtures), it meets NEC and CEC requirements for non-residential lighting applications.
