Built for rock salt. Chapin’s 88800B professional rock salt broadcast spreader is designed to handle inconsistent and large particulates like rock salt. The 100-pound one-piece poly hopper is supported on a rugged stainless steel frame. Its solid linkage gives you full gate control and the stainless “guillotine” style gate cuts through clumps to keep the salt moving smoothly. A spiked auger minimizes clumping and improves product flow. The gears are enclosed with a grease fitting to protect it from harsh winter weather and the front and side baffle system gives you edge control. 12" pneumatic tires cover just about any terrain. Snow/rain cover is also included. Covered by Chapin’s 5-year limited warranty.
