Produces 10-12 inch, bronze-red heads with a crisp green heart. Dark red color develops best in cool weather. Excellent variety for a fall lettuce crop. Red romaine is a unique heirloom that has extra crunchy texture and works well in a Caesar salad. This versatile lettuce can be grown all throughout the growing season.
Instructions:
Plant in an area with full to partial sun. Grows best in loose, well-draining soils. Water regularly. Does not require heavy fertilization. Harvest as desired between baby leaf stage and maturity.
