Used in combination with a straight length, this component assures that an exact required vent length can be achieved. It allows for easy disassembly and can absorb the linear expansion of longer pipe lengths. The 18-inch length adjusts from 6 inches to 16 inches. The size refers to the inside diameter of the pipe or fitting, with the outside diameter of RV being approximately 1/2 inch larger. This is a Type B gas vent and can be used as part of a water heater vent pipe.
