The electronic torque wrenches ensure a precise fastener torque level and are available in either 3/8" and 1/2" drives. • How should the wrench be stored to maintain its accuracy? It’s important to store the torque wrench at its lowest setting (but not below its minimum) and in a dry, protected environment to prevent damage and ensure long-term accuracy.
• How does the wrench handle adjustment work? The handle of the micrometer torque wrench features a twist mechanism for adjusting torque settings. Once the desired torque is set, the locking feature secures it to prevent any accidental changes during use.
• What kind of tasks is a 1/2" drive torque wrench typically used for? A 1/2" drive torque wrench is ideal for heavy-duty applications, such as tightening larger fasteners on vehicles, suspension components, and industrial equipment, where higher torque is necessary.
