TruMelt™ Defender Plus is a premium ice melt designed to protect the environment, concrete, and pets. It uses high purity salt enhanced with liquid magnesium chloride to begin the melting process and effectively penetrates ice down to 0°F. Defender PLUS is efficient and maintains performance for extended periods, though TruMelt™ 10% or 20% may offer faster performance. Using solar salt and magnesium from natural water sources, it prevents contamination and is safe for pets and plants when used as directed.
