This belt-driven whole house fan features a white powder-coat finish shutter and a 2-speed, thermally-protected 1/3 HP Permanent Split Capacitor (PSC) motor. It is equipped with a precision-balanced aluminum fan blade assembly with 4 blades for enhanced air movement, and includes a 2-speed switch and wall plate. Designed for ceiling mount applications, it supports both joist-in or joist-out installation. The fan incorporates dual ball-bearing technology, tough steel motor struts, and a steel venturi for increased durability. The 30" whole house fan suitable for homes between 2000 & 3000 sq. ft. and requires a minimum of 10 to 12 sq. ft. of net free air exhaust vent area. Veins run lengthwise on 30" whole house fan. Center vein is stationary to allow no-cut joint installation.
