The 6540 Standard Double Layer Back Hand Pad is a standard duty, double-layered pad designed for robust protection. The top layer is made of aluminized carbon/aramid, offering excellent resistance against heat, sparks, and spatter. The bottom layer is constructed from heavy-duty vermiculite-coated fiberglass for added defense. For a secure and comfortable fit, the pad is held in place with durable leather and elastic straps, and is entirely sewn with Kevlar® thread for superior strength.
