Being able to see the world, the sun, the moon, mountains, friends, rivers, sunsets, etc., around us assures us that they are real. Once in a church service, a man in the audience stood up and said, “I can’t believe what you say. You said there is a heaven and hell. I’ve never seen them, and that Jesus is alive and real, I’ve never seen him.” Another man stood up and said, “You tell me there is a river by this town, the sun is shining, there are mountains, or that this room is full of people. I don’t see any of that, because I was born blind, but I believe, just as I believe in Jesus and he is real to me.” If we are spiritually blind, we cannot see the things of God, for they are foolishness to us. If we come to God through Jesus, He will open our eyes, and we can see and feel the glories of heaven. “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.” Matthew 5:6 - Ernie Zimmerman, Ag & Industrial Associate, Lititz
